Merry Christmas Eve

24 Dec

Today is the Broncos\Bengals game and it is looking so so.

Today has been a good day. I got the chance to get in the wheelchair, and I took full advantage. I went out on my own and went up an incline in the hospital a number of times. It feels good to get the heart rate up.

I also had a couple of visitors today. It always feels nice to get visitors. It is a bit of a break
from the current situation.

My brothers showed up today. And Erika and her family will be here for the day tommorrow. It will feel like Christmas tommorrow. It will be all of us in the Flagstaff Medical Center cafeteria. Wow, what a sight. I know it will be a Christmas I will never forget. I will always appreciate their effort.

And of course, two days till Denver. It its going to be very difficult once I get there, but I cannot heal and get better untill I get to Denver.

Well I better go….The Broncos are winning and it’s start of the fouth quarter.

Thanks for all you comments…. I read everyone. Please keep writing.

Thanks to everyone, and have a very safe and Merry Christmas.

    Hey Joel,
Hey man! It’s been very nice to read your blogs and see you in such good spirits. That shows a lot of your character, and outlook on life. Keep it up man!

Broncos squeaked by with that win, but a win’s a win, right? Win next week against San Fran, we’re playoff bound!

Hope your trip back to Colorado is safe!

Joel, Erika, and all the Yates,

Merry Christmas from Minnesota. Things are winding on down here at Karyl’s. We are getting ready to eat dinner soon. I’m sure your Christmas dinner in the hospital cafeteria was memorable. Just wanted to let you know we’re thinking of you guys here. Much love. Janis

I hope that your travels to Colorado went smoothly. The Broncos pulled one out, but the Cowboys looked ugly yesterday. You are in our thoughts and prayers everyday – Jason
